Once In A Lifetime Experience

I KNOW A PLACE …

Where the animal kingdom stretches as far as you can see. Where the air is fresh and clear. Where the stars have an extra twinkle. Where the music of the day consists of trumpets, rumbles, and roars. Where the colors of birds are rainbows in the sky. Where the landscape depicts the breathtaking scenery in The Lion King and where any number of animals are often in plain view as you glance across the African bush and landscape.

Not sure what to expect on our first safari, my wife and I had our fingers crossed that our safari in South Africa’s Madikwe Game Reserve a few months ago would be a safe and great adventure.

Accompanied by our personal guide and tracker, we were taken by the unexpected of never knowing when or what we would come across next or how the animals would react to our presence. We saw many animals and birds, saw lions eat their prey, most often from a very short distance away, and learned so much from being in the bush. For the most part, the animals did not seem to mind our presence, which surprised and amazed me. While our time on safari flew by, we will never forget the treat of witnessing the wonders of an African safari, some of our photos of which will do the rest of the talking.

I’m sharing this experience with you as a reminder to us all to balance our work life with fun times. Work-life balance is important to achieve a healthy well-being and a happy state of life. Travel is just one of many ways to achieve work-life balance. It helps you appreciate work more, clear your mind and de-stress, stay connected with the world, gain valuable experiences, and increase productivity, among other things.

As we approach the holiday season, I hope you all have some downtime, and I wish you a healthy and happy holiday season!

Best Regards,
