I don’t know about you, but the past year has simply flown by for me.
I think it has gone so very quickly for me because I’ve been pulling “double-duty” for several months now. First, serving my estate planning clients to the best of my ability while simultaneously, since July of 2021, serving as President of the Ohio State Bar Association. Yes, it has been an interesting, challenging, and rewarding time. As my term is nearing the end I was honored to be the subject of an American Bar Association article, “Defining Moments, Insights into the Lawyer’s Soul: David H. Lefton, a Man for a Time Such as This”, written by Melanie Bragg. I invite you to click on this link to read the article. https://tinyurl.com/3yymv536
I’m also sharing links to two posts that cover unique estate planning topics you might find interesting. The first one, “How Alternative Households Can Financially Prepare for Life Changes” covers estate planning for non-traditional families – https://davidlefton.com/how-alternative-households-can-financially-prepare-for-life-changes/. The other is an interesting spin on estate planning you may not have considered called “Estate Planning in Reverse” https://davidlefton.com/estate-planning-in-reverse-2/
